About Me

Hi, my name Nancy. I have been teaching tennis for more than 40 years. Including teaching, private and group lessons at country clubs, camps, racquet, clubs, communities, as well, as serving as head, tennis coach for varsity high school teams in northern Virginia. I have years of experience, organizing drills for all skill levels, playing strategy for both singles and doubles play Most recently I have been a tennis pro at Crosspointe Tennis Club (Fairfax Station, VA) and the Polo Run at Lakewood Ranch community in Bradenton, Florida where I conduct adult and junior tennis lessons to all skill levels.

As a player I was no. 1 for Cheltenham High School (outside of Philadelphia, PA) and went on to play no. 1 singles and doubles at The American University in Washington, DC.. I was always a top 10 ranked player in the Middle States rankings from 12 & under all the way up to 18 & under. I competed in various national junior tournaments, including Easter Bowl and Orange Bowl and also competed in USTA Adult League (5.0): 1990-1992/1996-present in both 4.5 and 5.0 divisions.

While. I have been a teaching tennis pro for MyTennisLessons.com for over ten years., I recently received teaching certification for Pickle Ball.

I moved to Bradenton, Florida in 2022, and look forward to working with my new students!

Teaching Style

I have taught at private country clubs, swim and tennis clubs, indoor tennis clubs, schools and public courts. Depending on the student, and if private or group lessons, I develop the proper drills, stoke development and playing strategy, accordingly. I coached the Varsity Girls Tennis team at Robinson Secondary School (Fairfax, VA) for two seasons and am currently in my 5th season coaching the Mount Vernon HS Varsity Girls Tennis team in Alexandria, VA.
